A Medal Moment
This year, I entered my first dance competition (Solo Freestyle). Surprisingly, I won the Highly Commended medal.
Disability Arts Online Kindly published a two part blog series about what I’m learning in my dance classes, as well as the process of entering the competition, known as the West Oxfordshire Inclusive Open.

Christa Udell Official Head Adjudicator’s Feedback:
A moving and musical performance with excellent hand and arm movements all in tune with the music. Maybe you could try to follow the movements of your fingers with your eyes a bit more. Lovely big circles shown to express feelings and devotion. Well done and what a lovely story you projected to the dance floor.
Score 8/10 - Highly Commended.
I had to wait a while for the rankings, photos, video clips, official feedback, and Disability Arts Online blogs to be posted online before I could share my full performance with you. I hope you enjoy it.
